At this time, we observe all Federal Holidays and are closed on these days.
The Street and Sanitation Departments have a total of thirteen employees with which we maintain, build, and asphalt the roads and remove residential and commercial refuse within the city limits. The jobs we do vary in our departments to meet the city’s needs, and we strive to maintain a professional and helpful service to the citizens of Broken Bow.
The sanitation rates for residential pickup are $9.25 per month and the routes are Mondays and Tuesdays. For brush, couches, etc., call and leave a message for pickup.
Commercial rates start at $22.25 per 3 yard commercial dumpster. Extra pickups or additional cans will have an additional charge.
Roll-off containers are available in 20 and 30 yard boxes. 20yd containers are $200.00 per dump with a 4 ton weight limit and 30yd containers are $275.00 per dump with a 7 ton weight limit. An additional charge of $26.00 per ton will be added to any weight exceeding the weight limit.
** $50.00 will be added to any can placed outside city limits.
