Upgrades:

  • $4.6 million water treatment plant expansion.
  • $6 million dollar waste water plant upgrade.
  • $1 million dolar waste water collection system upgrade.

History

The City of Broken Bow's Treatment Plant was constructed in 1990-91 and is designed to be gravity flow. The unique design allows us to maintain our water flow, even when conditions are not favorable. Starting in 2007, our treatment plant is expanding to 10 million gallons per day to better serve our communities.

 

Water Source and Laboratory

Our raw water source is from Broken Bow Lake. Broken Bow Lake is known as the cleanest and clearest lake in Oklahoma.

Our water treatment plant laboratory offer state certified bacteriological analysis for industrial, municipal, and privately owned wells in our area. Lab hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 2 pm.

Water Rate Schedule

Residential/Commercial

$9.45 minimum for the first 1,500 gallons
$2.05 per 1,000 gallons over 1,500 for customers within city limits.
$3.10 per 1,000 gallons over 1,500 for customers outside city limits.

Wholesale

$1.94 per 1,000 gallons for municipalities and rural water districts

Industrial

$1.97 per 1,000 gallons for all commercial customers

Sewer Rate Schedule

Residential/Commercial

$14.50 minimum for the first 1,500 gallons of water usage.
$2.90 per 1,000 gallons over 1,500 gallons of water usage.
